Practice & Cases

• Mix of inpatient consults and hospital-based outpatient procedures
• Perform general gastroenterology coverage, including ERCP, rounding, consults, and endoscopy procedures
• Average of 4–6 outpatient procedures and 1–3 inpatient procedures daily
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, anesthesia professionals, and hospital staff

Schedule

• Monday-to-Monday coverage blocks
• Approximately one week per month
• Morning rounds, procedures, and afternoon consults
• 24-hour call while on assignment

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Idaho medical license or active Interstate Medical License Letter of Qualification
• BLS and DEA required

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Travel arrangements are coordinated for scheduled coverage blocks
