Requirements Looking for a pediatrician only, fellowship not required. Service runs 24/7. Physician would work three 24 hour shifts in seven days. Only one peds hospitalist services on at a time. See 32 weeks and up. Inpatient peds, ED consults, newborn nursery care and as needed, newborn attending delivery. 8-bed unit. Seeing mostly low acuity patients with some mid-level acuity. Fantastic cross collaboration between specialties to support inpatient peds care. Quick options to transfer out sick/more acute patients. Peds hospitalist are a very tight knit group - very collaborative with each other and in-system NICU teams.
