Orthopedic Hand Surgeon in Bloomington, IN

Bloomington, IN is a wonderful place to live and practice! IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians, which is part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join their growing team in Bloomington, IN. This surgeon will perform the majority of their surgeries at our outpatient surgical center. The newly remodeled outpatient surgery center is physician owned and is highly efficient with a premier location to perform surgeries.

In December of 2021 IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians opened the IU Health Bloomington Hospital on the new Indiana University Regional Academic Health Center campus that serves Hoosiers close to home in the south-central region. The 557 million dollar facility is designed to improve healthcare in South Central Indiana and help make Indiana one of the healthiest states in the nation.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday- Friday, 2 days in clinic, 2 days in surgery

• Call Schedule: 1 week every 9 weeks in addition to night call 2-3 times a month

• Procedures performed include fracture/ trauma and elective upper extremity cases

Qualifications:

• BE/BC in Orthopedics required

• Fellowship trained in Hand Surgery
