Hackensack Meridian Health is looking for an accomplished, forward-thinking physician leader to guide our dynamic ID team at a major academic hospital.

This is an exceptional opportunity combining clinical practice, leadership, teaching, and research.

🎯 Your Mission:

  • Lead & Strategize: Provide strategic and operational leadership for the ID Division.
  • Grow the Program: Expand clinical services, faculty practice, and off-site locations.
  • Mentor & Teach: Oversee all teaching activities (students, residents, CME) and mentor junior faculty.
  • Drive Excellence: Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and foster research.

📋 Position Overview:

  • Reports to: Chair, Department of Medicine.
  • Team: Oversee full-time, part-time, and voluntary faculty.
  • Scope: Comprehensive inpatient/outpatient care, including general and transplant ID.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the HMH School of Medicine and Research Institute.

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $243,909. Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
