Position Summary

Florida Interventional Specialists (FIS), a distinguished division of Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF), is seeking a dedicated full-time Interventional Radiologist to join our team in the highly desirable beachside community of Sarasota, Florida. With over nine interventional radiologists covering two main hospitals and several outpatient centers, we offer a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can leverage advanced imaging technologies to deliver exceptional patient care.

As a full-time, onsite Interventional Radiologist, you will share responsibilities with nine IR physician colleagues and eight physician extenders. This role involves performing and interpreting a broad spectrum of interventional procedures across clinic, inpatient, and outpatient settings, with a significant focus on supporting the local cancer center.

Candidates can expect a call frequency of 1 in 9, with dedicated post-call days off. The position is predominantly interventional, with flexible and light diagnostic radiology responsibilities. There are also opportunities for those interested to participate in diagnostic radiology rotations.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Board eligible or certified by The American Board of Radiology or The American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Subspecialty board certification in IR
• Licensed or have the ability to be licensed in the state of FL
