Practice Setting
- 22-bed ED with open ICU
- 1 physician + 2 APPs per shift
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage
- EMR: Meditech 6.1
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 7 AM-7 PM or 7 PM-7 AM
- Ongoing coverage needs - flexible dates
- Must be North Carolina licensed
- Temporary privileges available
Cases and Procedures
- 18–20 patients per shift
- Bread-and-butter EM coverage
- Ages 2 and up
Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Active North Carolina license
- 24+ months of EM experience
- ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS certifications
- PECOS enrollment and NC Medicaid credentialing
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, mileage, and rental car reimbursed
- Hospital-provided lodging in on-site apartments
