How you'll make an impact in this role

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a new Full time General Cardiologist to our team at our clinic at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital.
* Join an established team of 7 physicians and 16 APPs
* Call structure: 1:4
* Practice setting: inpatient/outpatient
* Access to Cath lab | Robotics | Dedicated block time | Support staff
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Fellowship trained in General Cardiology
* Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation preferred
* Endovascular medicine certification preferred
* Manage a healthy and consistent vascular volume, with an average of 50-100 vascular interpretations annually.
* Work alongside an exceptional, tight-knit team of fellow Interventional Cardiologists and highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who manage top-of-license duties to streamline your day.
* Expand your footprint and build strong regional ties by providing dedicated outreach care to our partner locations just one day per week.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
