  • UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting a Total Joint Arthroplasty Orthopedic Surgeon to step into a fully established practice with high volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospital’s emergency and trauma departments. Must have an MD or equivalent, be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

     

    Opportunity Details

    •  Join an established busy joint practice with a wait list greater than 6 months. 
    • Current orthopaedic surgeons include a trauma/fracture surgeon, a foot and ankle surgeon, a sports medicine surgeon, a hand and upper extremity surgeon, a total joints specialist and a podiatrist.
    • Additional providers include a non-surgical sports medicine physician and nine physician assistants.
    • Clinical Academic appointment
    • Trauma & Practice call will be 1:6
    • Team physicians for local Division 1 University
    • In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system
    • Newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex
