Practice Setting
- Inpatient L&D coverage with occasional emergency GYN consults
- Volume averages 25 to 30 deliveries per month, 7 to 10 are C sections
- Postpartum and GYN census typically 0 to 3 patients
- Support includes OB nurse, pediatrician, and CRNA
- Epic for charting
Schedule
- 24 hour offsite call, must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
- Upcoming needs include late July and late August, with potential for additional weekends as the schedule opens
Cases and Procedures
- Routine L&D management and vaginal deliveries
- C sections as needed
- Occasional emergency GYN cases
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Board Eligible within 5 years accepted
- Mississippi medical license
- Open to IMLC Physicians
