The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine invites applications for board-certified/board-eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists to lead a new Pediatric Partial Hospital Program (PHP).
Position Highlights:

Lead the new Duke Pediatric Partial Hospital Program (PHP) in collaboration with:
- Division of Child and Family Mental Health and Community Psychiatry

Duke Childrens Hospital
-
Oversee a 16-bed PHP serving:
- Children ages 6-11
-
Adolescents ages 12+
- Provide direct clinical care, program development and oversight
- Teach and mentor medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child/adolescent psychiatry fellows
- Hold a faculty appointment with rank commensurate with experience
Preferred Experience:
- Background in pediatric hospital settings or PHP settings
- Leadership experience, ideally as a pediatric psychiatry consult-liaison physician
Primary Activities:
- Deliver individual- and team-based clinical care at the Duke Pediatric PHP
- Conduct medical and interdisciplinary evaluations and interventions

Lead a multidisciplinary team, including:
- Child and adolescent psychiatrists
- Pediatric psychologists
- Social workers
- Nurses

Trainees
- Engage in and receive support for scholarly activities
