Vice Chair of Quality, Department of Family Medicine - Prisma Health

Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine physician and enthusiastic leader to serve as the next Vice Chair of Quality for the Department of Family Medicine.

Responsibilities: Departmental executive leader overseeing all medical staff affairs to include credentialing, maintenance of certification, clinical outcomes, and professional development. Works with Department Chair to assure that the department is appropriately represented at the Medical Executive Committee and oversees processes related to departmental quality and patient safety. Working with the Chief Medical Officer, linking system wide quality initiatives with those of the department. Assures the availability of appropriate faculty development offerings targeted at clinical outcomes of departmental medical staff members.

Requirements:

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Family Medicine
• 5+ years of Clinical experience
