Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

  • Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

Required Qualifications:

  • WI Medical license by the start date of the position.
  • Board-certified or board eligible through the American Board of Physical Medical and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) by the start date of the position.
  • Completion of a US Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency by the start date of the position.
  • Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges, by the start date of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on CT or CHS track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS or CT track.

MD or DO, or equivalent required

The Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UW-Madison is comprised of 13 faculty, 9 advanced practice providers, 10 residents and 2 fellows within the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, which includes 61 faculty and 50 advanced practice providers in 8 subspecialty divisions/sections, 8 fellows across 5 fellowship programs and 40 residents between 2 residency programs. The division enjoys strong collaborative relationships with faculty in the Department of Pediatrics Division of Developmental Pediatrics & Rehabilitation Medicine.
