Our client is looking to add a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist / CRNA to their team in Pueblo, CO. As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist / CRNA, you will work under the supervision of the Attending Anesthesiologist. The CRNA will perform pre-anesthesia assessments and maintain the highest level of standards during the anesthesia process.  

Job Details: 

• Monday-Friday - 7a-3p
• No call / No weekends
• Hospital Based 
• Average number of Surgical cases per day: 25
• 80% General, 10% Complex Vascular, 10% Complex Orthopedic
• Fellowship training is not required for cardiac or pediatric cases. 
• Locums will work at satellite locations which is across the street. 
• 11 Anesthesiologists & 28 CRNAs in the group. 
• It a team care model, we like to say 1:4 on doc supervision, but it’s really 1:2, 1:3 majority of the time.
• 10 operating rooms. 
• OR equipment description: GE Carestation 650s. 
• EMR: EPIC
• FTE: 4 
• Required Procedures: General Anesthesia (Adult). 
• Preferred Procedures: Spinal Anesthesia, Neurosurgical cases (spine), Complex vascular cases (except open heart), and complex orthopedic cases. 
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

Qualifications: 

• Current certification from an accredited nursing program 
• Advanced degree / certification   
• Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion 
• Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension 
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
