Neonatology locum assignment in California with no call and NICU Level III care — just 45 minutes from Valley Children’s Level IV Nursery.

Highlights

• NICU Level III coverage - ADC 13–15
• No call required - 100% in-house shifts
• PRN or 2-week blocks - you choose how often
• Long-term assignment with stable monthly volume

Practice Setting

• Inpatient NICU setting
• Located in Visalia, near Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT)
• MFM and Pediatric Cardiology support available
• Transfer for surgical cases to nearby Level IV nursery

Schedule

• Minimum 7 shifts/month - open to days and nights
• Ideal: 2-week blocks/month
• 12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A

Cases and Procedures

• Prematurity, RDS, BPD/CLD, PPHN
• Intubation, mechanical ventilation (incl. HFOV)
• UAC/UVC and PICC line placement and management

Requirements

• Board Certified in Neonatology
• Active California license required
• PALS certification

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, hotel lodging, and rental car covered
• Mileage reimbursed if driving
