Practice Setting

- Level 2 trauma center operating as Level I, transfers typically limited to burns, amputations, and select high-risk OB
- State-of-the-art trauma rooms including a dedicated pediatric trauma room
- 24/7 physician staffing with APP support seven days per week, dedicated imaging and laboratory services
Schedule
- Night shift coverage, primarily 11p to 7a
- Weekend coverage is a key need
- Target 15 to 20 shifts per month

Cases and Procedures
- All emergency medicine procedures required
- High-acuity ED presentations across the full spectrum of emergency care
- Pediatric and adult trauma coverage supported by dedicated trauma rooms
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Emergency Medicine board certified
- Active South Carolina medical license
- DEA and CSR that can remain permanently registered in South Carolina, must be comfortable with all ages
Travel Accommodations
- Half-day onboarding and orientation required prior to first shift, completed Monday through Friday only
