  • The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC Children’s Hospital are recruiting a recruiting for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor outside the tenure stream in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. The candidate must have completed a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program and be BE/BC in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Must have an MD or equivalent.

    Opportunity Details

    • Join a Division with 38 pediatric emergency medicine faculty, 3 general pediatrician faculty as well as thirty advanced practice providers
    • Join an outstanding pediatric emergency medicine fellowship training program, including 9 fellows
    • Schedule is 13 rotating shifts per month including days, nights and weekends
    • Clinical academic appointment
    • 80% clinical and 20% teaching/administrative
    • Division faculty teach pediatric emergency medicine fellows, pediatric residents from UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, emergency medicine residents from the University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine, and visiting residents from area programs in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
