Pediatric Endocrinologist - Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital

To meet the needs of the region’s children and provide seamless, high quality, comprehensive pediatric care close to home for the children & families of Northern Virginia, Inova Children’s Service Line has recently enlarged its ambulatory network of subspecialists. We are seeking a qualified physician to join our rapidly-growing team of pediatric specialists as part of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology.

Responsibilities and Practice Details:

· Division includes six physicians, two advanced practice providers, a psychology service and team of diabetes educators

· Home to programs caring for children with diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth concerns, puberty concerns, multi-disciplinary programs caring for children with cystic fibrosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and gender diverse care (PRIDE Clinic)

· Endocrinology patients seen in Fairfax, Virginia (proximity to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital), Ashburn, Virginia and via telemedicine.

· Inpatient care centralized to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital

· Providing inpatient consult services 8-9 weeks per year

· Supports learners as part of Inova Fairfax Pediatric Residency Program

· Faculty appointment opportunity at University of Virginia Medical School Inova Campus

· Sharing call with the other physicians, supported by a robust triage system
