Key Job Responsibilities:

CHS Track - The duties under the CHS track include clinical, teaching, and academic duties. Clinical duties will take place in the Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section and will include the following ultrasound, intra-operative ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), computed tomography (CT) guided procedures, virtual colonoscopy (VC), and gastrointestinal/ genitourinary (GI/ GU) imaging. Teaching and clinical research is required. Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows, and other department trainees as appropriate.

CT Track - The duties under the CT Track include complementing our Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section, but also a willingness to interact closely with our ordering providers during clinical work. Collaboration and teamwork are valued qualities in our team practice.

Required Qualifications:

  • WI medical license by start date of position.
  • Board certified-board or board-eligible by American Board of Radiology (ABR) by start date of position.
  • Completion of fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging or equivalent experience is required by start date of position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • All Faculty: The chosen candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • CHS Faculty: The chosen applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
  • CT Faculty: The duties under the CT Track include complementing our Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section, but also a willingness to interact closely with our ordering providers during clinical work. Collaboration and teamwork are valued qualities in our team practice.

Education:

MD, DO, or equivalent required by start date of position.
