Locums CNM needed in New York ASAP

Location: Upstate NY

Specialty Needed: CNM

Scope of Coverage Needed:  clinic and call needed; call is beeper; Monday- Friday in the clinic; not open on weekends and holidays; On call requirements are 1 weekend per month, 1 weekday per week

Shift Times: Weekend call shift is Friday 5p-Monday 7a

Specific Dates of Need: No specific dates yet; looking for at least 2 weeks per month, up to full time

Required Procedures/Cases Details: 

• All OB + deliveries
• 1st assist is a plus but not required
• Hospital did 650 deliveries last year

PPD in clinic? 16-18 PP in clinic

Clinic cases? All clinic OB

Will need to Deliver

Will they be assisting with surgeries? NOT required

Will they be on the first call? YES, OB on back up call

Required Certifications:  NYS License and DEA unencumbered

Hospital/Practice Information: 

EMR System: EPIC

Bed Count: 74 bed acute care hospital

Support staff: OBGYN on back up call

Credentialing requirements and timeframe:

Can we license a candidate? Yes

Are temporary or emergency privileges available? 45 days
