    Norton Children’s Hospital, affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine, is seeking compassionate and highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its growing Pediatric General Anesthesiology team in Louisville, Kentucky.

    This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized anesthesia care within a collaborative pediatric healthcare environment dedicated to clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care. CRNAs work alongside experienced anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to support pediatric patients across a wide range of surgical and procedural settings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
    • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
    • Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
    • Evaluate and manage patients throughout the perioperative process
    • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
    • Promote patient safety through evidence-based anesthesia practices
    • Serve as a patient advocate and healthcare resource for patients and families
    • Educate patients and caregivers regarding anesthesia care and recovery expectations
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental collaboration

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
    • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
    • Completion of hospital and/or payer credentialing requirements prior to practice
    • Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
