HMS is seeking an experienced and dedicated Hospitalist to work closely with our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in internal medicine, a passion for hospital-based medicine, and a strong belief that the best medical care requires a personalized approach. Position Available:
Full-Time Hospitalist
• 7am-5pm
• Open Slot: 10-14 days per month
• Start Date: Q3-4 2025
• Census: 8-14/day
W2 or Per Diem available:
o Competitive Rate: Up to $120 per hour
o Travel: Family housing and ferry reimbursement provided

Hospitalist Responsibilities:
• Manage the care of hospitalized patients in consultation with
specialists.
• Diagnose and treat hospital patients in accordance with the
medical staff's standards of care.
• Record and communicate patient information via EMR system
• Provide advice on pertinent medical issues.
• Create treatment plans for acute and chronic patients.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Staffing Model (daily):
o Day:
▪ 1 MD (10 hr)
▪ 1 APP (10hr)
o Night:
▪ 1 Nocturnist
• Daily Census (Up to 25 total):
• Procedures: Not required
• EMR: EPIC
• Medical Specialty: Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family
