Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Louisiana, Flexible Shifts
Level 2 trauma center in Lake Charles is seeking EM-experienced NPs for 10- and 12-hour shifts with full travel support.
Highlights
- Multiple 10–12 hour shifts available each month
- Flexible scheduling with options for days or nights
Practice Setting
- High-acuity Level 2 trauma center
- MD and APP team coverage across shifts
- Cerner EMR
- 40–50 patients per 24-hour period
Schedule
- 3–4 shifts/month with ongoing need
- Shift times include 6a–4p, 9a–7p, 12p–8p, and 4p–2a
- Mid-September start preferred
Cases and Procedures
- Bread-and-butter EM plus trauma and gunshot wound cases
- Must perform all core EM procedures: airways, lines, chest tubes, etc.
Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Active LA license or IMLC eligible
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, CSR required
Travel Accommodations
- Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage all covered

Compensation Details
