Inpatient pediatric cardiac ICU assignment in Louisiana with block scheduling and full credentialing support.

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient only; pediatric cardiac ICU
  • Partner with pediatric cardiac intensivists
  • Average 12–16 patients per shift
  • Admissions: 2–3 per shift

Schedule

  • Choose day (7a–8p) or night (5p–8a) shifts
  • In-house call during shifts for assigned patients
  • Flexible monthly blocks; no long-term commitment

Cases and Procedures

  • New admissions and rounding with multidisciplinary team
  • Manage frontline ICU calls
  • Pediatric cardiac floor coverage possible on nights (2–5 patients)

Requirements

  • Board Certified Pediatric NP (PNP-AC preferred)
  • Active Louisiana license or IMLC LOQ
  • BLS and PALS required

Travel Accommodations
