• Patient Volume: Newly Opened Micro-hospital with anticipated Annual ED Volume 10K
• Coverage Model: Mon - Fri from 7a-3p, Saturday and Sunday 7a-7p, Tele coverage kicks in at 3p Mon-Fri and runs through 7a the next morning, Sat-Sun, tele coverage is 7p-7a
• Number of Beds:
  • 10 inpatient beds
  • 12 ER beds
  • 2 triage rooms
• EMR: Epic

• Education: NP
• Licensure: TX
• Board Certification: Yes
• Experience: 2 years of hospital medicine experience

About CHRISTUS Emergency Center-Palestine - EM: Newly opened, full-service emergency hospital and part of the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System, designed to expand high-quality urgent care access for Palestine and the surrounding East Texas region. The facility features a 15-bed emergency department with around-the-clock services, advanced imaging (including MRI), laboratory diagnostics, and a 10-bed inpatient unit — enabling many patients to be treated and cared for close to home rather than needing transfer to larger cities.

As an extension of CHRISTUS's mission, the center enhances care continuity by integrating emergency care with broader CHRISTUS clinical resources and brings significant staffing and clinical opportunities to the community. With modern technology and a growing patient base, this emergency hospital provides a dynamic environment for emergency physicians committed to delivering compassionate, timely care
