Open Rank, Clinical Faculty - Medicine, Nephrology

The University of Miami Health System Division of Nephrology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty at open rank (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). We seek individuals with demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research in nephrology.
Responsibilities include:
- · Providing comprehensive care for nephrology patients in outpatient clinics and dialysis units
- · Participating in inpatient consult with services in the continuity clinics across multiple hospitals, including Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Hospital
- · Weekend, evening, and holiday on-call coverage proportionate to other faculty
- · Active involvement in educational programs, including teaching fellows, residents, and medical students in clinics, inpatient settings, dialysis units and conferences
- · Engagement in scholarly activities and contributions to the academic mission of the division

Qualifications:
- · MD Degree with completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Internship and Residency
- · Completed a 2-year ACGME-accredited Nephrology Fellowship
- · ABMS Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Nephrology
- · Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
- · Valid DEA licensure
- · Current ACLS and BLS certification required
- · Commitment to excellence in patient care, education and academic service
