Key Job Responsibilities:

Provide psychiatric care for a variety of addiction psychiatry and medicine patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Teach medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
Required Qualifications:
- Successful completion of residency in Psychiatry.
- Successful completion of a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry.
- WI Medical license by start date of position.
- Board-certified or board eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by start date of position.
- Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges, by start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- For an appointment at Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor rank on CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CT Track.
Education:
MD or DO, or equivalent is required.
Department of Psychiatry is seeking outstanding applicants for clinical trackaddiction psychiatry faculty position with clinician-educator. The successful candidate's clinical focus will be aligned with one or more areas of clinical expertise in the department, including, but not limited to board specialization in general adult and addiction psychiatry, as well as addiction medicine.
In addition, the successful candidates' clinical setting can include inpatient and outpatient, including intensive outpatient programs. The successful candidates will also be expected to teach, which may include lecturing and mentoring in our various educational programs, will embrace culture of excellence and innovation, and have interest in clinical scholarship within the Department.

- This position is full or part-time, 50%-100%
- This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
- This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
- Applicants for this position will be considered for the following titles: Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.
