This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our established, team-based Endocrinology practice at Ascension Saint Agnes. Operating in a highly collaborative environment with strong physician-NP partnerships, this role is perfect for a clinician passionate about advanced chronic disease management. You will step into a supportive, well-respected practice with a robust internal referral base and the comprehensive resources of a premier health system network.
* Join an established team of 2 physicians
* Call structure: Phone only every 3 weeks
* Practice setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
* Access to robust care management, social workers, diabetic educators, collaborative physician team members
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Deliver comprehensive endocrinology and diabetes care by conducting specialized patient assessments, ordering diagnostic studies, and managing complex chronic health conditions in close collaboration with our physician partners.
* Counsel and educate patients and families regarding individualized treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and community resources to improve long-term disease management and health outcomes.
* Optimize advanced diabetes technologies by interpreting Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) and insulin pump data, making precise clinical adjustments, and training patients to confidently use these tools.

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Experience working within a dedicated diabetes/endocrinology practice, or extensive experience managing complex diabetes patients in a primary care setting.
- Proven ability to interpret CGM and pump data, execute clinical adjustments, and lead patient training.
