Nurse Practitioner Locums-Urgent Care

About the Role

We are actively seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our dynamic Urgent Care team. This is an outpatient role working with both adult and pediatric populations. Candidates must be confident working independently, managing high patient volumes, and performing a range of minor urgent care procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients aged 6 months and up
• Treat both adult and pediatric patients
• Work efficiently within the EPIC EMR system (training provided)

Qualifications

• Active NP license (Board Certified – Family Nurse Practitioner)
• Minimum 12 months of experience as an NP in an Urgent Care or similar setting
• Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Preferred Certifications:
• DOT Certification
• PALS/ACLS
• EMR Experience: EPIC (modified training schedule available)
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation for travel within 65-mile support radius (mileage reimbursed)
