How you'll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated NP / PA to join an employed PRN position within a busy, well-respected Emergency Department, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
* Join an established team of [3] physicians and [7] APPs
* Call structure: Back Up Rotation
* Practice setting: Emergency Department
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Provide timely, high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages
* Evaluate, diagnose and manage acute illness and injuries
* Stabilize patients and coordinate transfers where higher levels of care are required
* Perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated
* Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
