Location: Rosebud, SD Start Date: 1–2 months Job Type: Full-Time Contract

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality emergency room care at a 20-bed hospital in Rosebud, SD. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up on patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions.

• Shifts:
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Day Shift)
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
• Coverage Model:
• Onsite hospitalist
• 36 hours of MD coverage daily
• 24 hours of APP coverage daily

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including history, physical exams, and diagnostic test ordering.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and injuries in collaboration with physicians as needed.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, joint injections, and other approved interventions.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license (state of practice).
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of emergency room experience required.
• Strong clinical decision-making and assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
