    El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Endocrinologist to join our growing specialty team. This role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders in an outpatient-focused setting. The Endocrinologist will work collaboratively with primary care providers and specialists to deliver high-quality care, improve chronic disease outcomes, and support continued program growth across the network.

    Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic endocrine disorders (e.g., diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders) • Interpret and manage complex diagnostic testing, including hormone panels, dynamic endocrine testing, and imaging studies • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with evidence-based guidelines • Manage complex diabetes care, including insulin regimens, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and insulin pump therapy • Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence • Collaborate with primary care physicians, diabetes educators, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans to optimize clinical results and patient satisfaction • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, EPIC • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices

    Qualifications: • MD or DO from an accredited medical school • Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism • DEA license • California State Medical license • Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills • Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care

    Preferred Skills: • Experience in outpatient endocrinology practice • Expertise in diabetes management, including advanced technologies (CGM, insulin pumps) • Interest in program development, population health, and quality improvement initiatives • Familiarity with EMR systems
