The University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for an Endocrinologist. The Assistant Professor on the clinical educator track is primarily responsible for providing high quality medical care to patients with endocrine diseases. The incumbent conducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or services.

Essential Job Functions:
* Provide outpatient and inpatient care to patients at University of Miami Health System and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
* Engage in training of Endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students.
* Oversees mid-level medical staff as assigned as well as nursing clinical staff.

Qualifications:
* MD Degree and ACGME US Internal Medicine Internship and Residency
* Completed 3-year ACGME US Endocrinology Fellowship
* Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology (or board eligible)
* Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
* Valid DEA licensure
* Current ACLS and BLS certification required
