UNC Endocrinology at Apex is hiring a Physician (MD/DO) for a part-time position (20 hours per week)!

• Thyroid and Parathyroid disorders
• Adrenal and Pituitary diseases
• Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
• Metabolic Bone Diseases and Osteoporosis

Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Job Qualifications:

• Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
• Board certified Internal Medicine required
• NC State License preferred
• FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Must be eligible for credentialing

Education Requirements:
* Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Board Certified Internal Medicine
* DEA;ACLS;MD
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

* Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
