Locums/Contract Opportunity – Endocrinologist

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join a dedicated team in VA. This is a full-time locums assignment with an initial 6-month contract.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: ~120 days for credentialing
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (first patient at 8:20 AM)
• Patient Volume: 18–20 per day
• Follow-ups: 20 minutes
• New patients: 40 minutes
• Call Coverage: May be required every 3–4 months (no clinic patients during call coverage)
• Additional Duties: Assist with monitoring inbaskets
• Contract Length: 6 months, with potential extension

Requirements:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO)
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• VA license at time of submittal highly preferred
• Must obtain AHA Certifications
• Ability to manage Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes patients, including insulin pump management
