How you'll make an impact in this role
Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a new Full Time Cardiovascular Surgeon to our team at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Join an established team of 7 physicians and 16 APPs
- Call structure: 1:4
- Practice setting: inpatient/outpatient
- Access to Cath lab | Robotics | Dedicated block time | Support staff
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Inherit an active, built-in referral base from our extensive regional primary care and cardiology networks, ensuring immediate case volume.
- Act as the admitting, attending, and consulting expert for a dedicated cardiovascular patient population, seamlessly managing both inpatient and outpatient settings.

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
