Cardiology Locum Tenens – Inpatient Rounding Memphis, TN Area

We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage at a 300-bed hospital in the Memphis, TN area. This is primarily an inpatient rounding and consult-based role with a predictable Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend support.

Schedule & Details

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Rounding on inpatients (hospital consults, follow-ups, and management of cardiology patients)
• Some weekend coverage needed (flexible; typically Saturday/Sunday rounding as required)
• No overnight call mentioned; daytime hospital-based coverage
• Setting: Inpatient at a mid-sized acute care hospital
• Patient volume: Moderate inpatient census (typical for rounding-focused locums)
• Start: Flexible / ASAP or upcoming blocks in 2026
• Duration: Ongoing need – short-term blocks or extended assignments available

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology (General/Non-Invasive preferred)
• Active TN medical license (or IMLC)
• Clean background and references
• BLS/ACLS required
