Cardiologist Opportunity at The University of Kansas St. Francis in Topeka

St. Francis Heart & Vascular Center is hiring for a Cardiologist (PVI certified/eligible preferred) to join our team in beautiful Topeka, Kansas. Be part of our accredited TJC Primary Heart Attack Center, with a fully-equipped clinic and hospital- including a Cath Lab. No teaching or academic responsibilities are required in this job opening with the University of Kansas Physicians Group.
About the Position:
- Join a cardiology team of 9 physicians, 7 advanced practice providers, and support staff
- Single Specialty Group, Hospital Employed, Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Inpatient/Outpatient
- Onsite procedure rooms and testing available, including nuclear stress, ECHO, vascular sonography, Coumadin clinic, cardiac rehab, and vein clinic
- Expected Patient Load: 2.5/hour clinical; inpatient varies
- Clinical/Hospital Call 1:6 rotation (telephone only) with excess call pay
- EMR: Epic

About Us:
St. Francis is known for its outstanding cardiology program, including invasive, invasive-interventional, electrophysiology, and Cardio-thoracic surgery. Our cath lab volume has doubled in the last two years due to growth in the cardiology practice. We are investing millions of dollars in additional cath lab technology. All of these investments will lead to additional surgical volume.
The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus is a joint venture between The University of Kansas Health System which is the state's only academic healthcare system and Ardent Health System, which has been awarded "Best Places to Work" by Modern Healthcare. The 378-bed facility, with 400 providers, is in a 425K+ service area.
