MaineHealth, the largest health care system in Maine currently has several openings across the system for Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist, areas of focus include but are not limited to IBD, Pediatrics, Digestive Health and Generalist.

​

These positions offer:

• Outstanding clinical care in the full complement of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Robust support staff including a nurse practitioner, registered dietician, a social worker, and four gastroenterology nurses, all of whom work closely with our physicians.
• Opportunities to provide clinical instruction to students from the University of New England and Tufts University medical schools, internal medicine residents and advanced practice providers.
• Additional opportunities will include joining the core faculty for a GI fellowship, currently under development, and participating in clinical research activities through the MaineHealth Institute for Research.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• New graduates are experienced candidates alike are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with joint replacement procedures is preferred.
