Gastroenterology Opportunities – Academic Hospitalist & Community Practice (Southwest Ohio)

Premier Physician Network (PPN) is expanding gastroenterology services to establish Premier Health as a regional destination for advanced digestive care. Based in Dayton, Ohio, Premier Health is the region’s largest health system, home to the only adult Level I Trauma Center and a broad network of hospitals, outpatient centers, and physician practices. As part of a growing, mission-driven health system, our physicians benefit from robust infrastructure, academic affiliation, and strong community ties.

We are currently seeking gastroenterologists to join our employed physician network, with two distinct practice models available to fit different career goals:

Gastroenterology Hospitalist - Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) – Dayton, OH

• Academic role: Faculty appointment with opportunities to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborative team: Work alongside GI fellows and APPs while expanding advanced endoscopy services.
• High-volume program: 5,000+ annual procedures, including ERCP, EUS, and ESD.
• Balanced schedule: Monday–Friday with 1 night of call per week and 1-in-6 weekends.

 

Gastroenterologist - Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) – Troy, OH

• Community-based practice: Collegial team of 2 GI physicians and 4 APPs in a supportive environment.
• Convenient setting: Office located in the medical building attached to UVMC with a brand-new, dedicated endoscopy suite.
• Collaborative resources: Strong system support with access to advanced technology and multidisciplinary care.
• Balanced lifestyle: 1:4 call rotation, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits.
