Centra Medical Group is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join our team at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, Virginia.

Practice Highlights

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Daily pager call (8:00 AM–4:00 PM), plus 10 days/month of 24/7 call and one weekend
• Procedure time every morning (8:00 AM–12:00 PM) plus Wednesday afternoons
• Clinic four afternoons per week, averaging 8 patients/day
• Approximately 2,200 scopes annually
• 2–4 new inpatient consults daily
• Supported by experienced nursing staff and 2 APPs
• BC/BE Gastroenterologist required
• ERCP experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: $622k guaranteed with potential of $700k+
• Sign On Bonus of $45k
• Relocation up to $15k
• CME Stipend and Days
• APP Supervision: $500/month per 1.0 APP FTE
• Allowable Time Off (ATO) of 224 hours/year
• Malpractice insurance and medical/vision/dental coverage
• Matching 403b Retirement account contribution - immediate vesting

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Completion of accredited Gastroenterology training
• Five years of experience preferred
