West Los Angeles VAMC is seeking a full-time Cardiac Anesthesiologist Physician to join our dedicated Anesthesiology Service. The successful candidate will have completed a cardiac anesthesiology fellowship and possess expertise in TAVR and structural heart disease. Responsibilities include providing a broad range of anesthesiology interventions, particularly for cardiac cases such as valve surgeries, CABG, and TAVR. The role requires participation in the cardiac call schedule and may involve additional case assignments as needed. Key duties include developing comprehensive anesthetic plans, preparing for potential complications, and participating in preoperative evaluations and cardiac team meetings. This position supports our mission to care for veterans with compassion and excellence, as well as affiliation and collaboration with UCLA.
Work Schedule: Mon-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (some flexibility considered)
Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine
• Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license
• Must have completed residency in an accredited core specialty
• Must have completed or be in the process of completing a Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Competitive Salary Range: $353,000-$400,000
