MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist with an expertise in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine to be based at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. We have a robust regional anesthesia program, with over 3,400 blocks performed per year for our burn, cardiac, orthopedic, plastic, and trauma surgery patients. Please note that we have call and non-call positions available. Our growing Acute Pain Service emphasizes peripheral nerve and neuraxial catheter placement, enhanced patient recovery, and opioid-sparing care, with a broad range of regional techniques including upper and lower extremity, chest wall, abdominal, and specialty blocks. Qualifications
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
* Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
* Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of practice.
* Fellowship training or extensive experience in regional anesthesiology, regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine or acute pain medicine/service. Other Position Highlights & Benefits:
