Cambridge Health Alliance is recruiting Pathologists to join our vibrant, innovative health system dedicated to providing equity and excellence for everyone, every time. With locations across Boston’s metro-north region, CHA provides innovative primary, specialty and emergency care to our diverse patient population through an established network of outpatient clinics and two full service hospitals.

Position details:

  • Provide anatomic and clinical pathology services, with primary emphasis on surgical pathology, cytopathology, and diagnostic interpretation
  • Based at CHA Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, MA
  • Full service histology and cytology laboratory as well as an extensive point of care test network throughout the clinics and inpatient areas
  • Each CHA hospital campus has a three shift clinical laboratory
  • Epic electronic medical record; Meditech laboratory information system
  • CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. An HMS appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, may be available commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess an active license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
  • Experience in surgical pathology and cytopathology, supported by strong diagnostic, consultative, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CAP, CLIA, and applicable accreditation and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
  • Pathology informatics training or experience including Beaker implantation is highly valued

Compensation Details

$305K–$365K

CHA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 403b retirement accounts with matching, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), and a CME allotment (both time and dollars). The full time guaranteed base salary range of $305,000-$365,000 is based on years of experience.
