Ansible Government Solutions/Titan-Auxo is actively recruiting a Board-Certified Pathologist to provide full-time onsite coverage supporting the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Pathologist seeking a predictable weekday schedule, competitive compensation, and a long-term opportunity providing pathology services in support of our nation’s Veterans.

Position Highlights:

• $250/hour, 1099 Independent Contractor • Full-time, 40 hours per week • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM • No call, weekends, or federal holidays • Long-term VA contract opportunity • Malpractice coverage provided • Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA • ASAP start

Clinical Scope:

The Pathologist will provide general surgical pathology, cytology, and clinical pathology services. 0% direct patient contact.

​

Responsibilities include frozen sections, biopsy and resection case sign-out, and GI, GU, lung, and head & neck pathology. Cytology responsibilities include GYN and FNA biopsy sign-out, including onsite evaluations. Clinical pathology responsibilities include oversight of blood bank/transfusion, hematology, and chemistry services. Anticipated volume is approximately 3,000 cases annually.

No grossing or autopsies are required. Hematopathology, neuropathology, and dermatopathology sign-out are also not required.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO • American Board of Pathology Board Certification required • AP/CP certification required • Board Eligible candidates cannot be considered • Current, full, and unrestricted medical license • BLS/ACLS and DEA are not required for this assignment
