  • Seattle Children’s is seeking a Pathologist to provide comprehensive anatomic services and expert clinical consultation across our medical and surgical subspecialties.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Clinical Consultation: Serve as a primary resource for attending physicians, nursing, and ancillary teams regarding anatomic and clinical pathology.
    • Quality & Integration: Ensure high-quality patient care aligned with Seattle Children’s goals, vision, and philosophy.
    • Academic Contribution: Support the hospital’s academic mission through teaching and research.
    • Faculty Appointment: Must meet the criteria for a formal faculty appointment at the University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM).
    • Service Excellence: Commitment to integrating pathology services into a multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare environment.

    This is an open rank position. Placement will be based on Academic Rank eligibility with UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.

    Required Education/Experience:

    • MD Degree.
    • Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Pathology.
    • Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's.
    • Faculty appointment at the University of Washington.
