Job Details:

· Schedule: 2 back to back days of clinic and OR once/month- planned in advance.

· Surgical Care: Perform outpatient Ophthalmology surgery (Cataracts) appropriate for a critical access hospital setting.

· Clinic Operations: Conduct pre-operative assessments, post-operative care, and follow-up evaluations in the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Education & Board: MD or DO with board certification in Ophthalmology.
• Training & Experience: Fellowship training or significant experience in Ophthalmology surgery with experience in outpatient procedures suitable for a critical access hospital.
• Setting Adaptability: Comfortable practicing in a rural setting with limited on-site specialty resources.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
