Job Summary: Eyecare Associates, a well-established practice serving the New Orleans community for over 40 years, is seeking a Fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon or Residency-trained Cataract Surgeon to join our growing, multi-location, multispecialty team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional surgical and clinical care while collaborating with an experienced staff and physician team. This role offers immediate access to a significant surgical volume, advanced technology, and resources through EyeSouth Partners, with partnership opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality surgical and medical care in glaucoma and/or cataract management
• Perform cataract and glaucoma surgeries, including complex cases, with precision and efficiency
• Manage an established patient base while growing clinical and surgical practice volume
• Collaborate with current physicians, staff, and subspecialists to deliver coordinated care
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate documentation and workflow efficiency
• Stay current with evolving surgical techniques, technologies, and treatment guidelines
• Participate in practice growth initiatives, patient education, and community engagement

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Fellowship-trained in Glaucoma or residency-trained in Cataract Surgery
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Eligible for unrestricted medical license in Louisiana
• Strong clinical and surgical skills with proven ability to manage a busy surgical practice
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills

• Multi-location practice with modern facilities and experienced support staff
