Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in northern Georgia that has an opportunity for a Pulmonary Critical Care physician to provide locum tenens coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Schedule: Day shifts
  • Overnight beeper shifts
  • Patient Volume: 10 per day
  • 8-bed ICU
  • Duties: Admissions, cross-cover, and pulmonary consults
  • Required Procedures: Tracheal intubation, central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, dialysis catheter, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, conscious sedation, bronchoscopy
  • Support Staff: Hospitalists, ER physicians, ICU nurses, and respiratory therapists
  • Must be board-certified
  • Additional Certifications: ACLS and GA DEA
  • Paid travel & expenses
