About the Role:
As the Chief of Pulmonary Medicine, you'll lead the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including but not limited to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary hypertension, and respiratory failure. Your expertise will profoundly impact the health and well-being of our veteran community, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may be considered if qualified citizens are not available in accordance with VA Policy.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
- Completion of an accredited residency in a core specialty
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary critical care medicine
Preferred Candidate:
- Possesses five years of experience, holding board certifications in both Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, with demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record in overseeing and training medical trainees.
Benefits Include:
- Salary: $285,000-$400,000 (Sign on Bonus-Authorized)
