  • At Brown University Health we believe a strong health system begins with primary care. We are expanding access, recruiting and retaining providers, all while using an effective team approach. To support our clinicians, we have developed advanced practice providers mentorship programs and structured physician onboarding. It is our belief that retention depends on ongoing support. We nourish strong training pipelines and early-career support with mentorship, flexibility, manageable workloads, and a strong sense of community. We have opportunities for board certified or eligible physicians interested in primary care in a variety of clinical settings in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

     

    What to expect

    ·       See 20-24 patients per day

    ·       Very light call by phone – roughly 1:6/week

    ·       Opportunity to develop specialty interests such as, geriatrics, obesity medicine, LGBTQ care, office-based procedures and more

    ·       Choice of traditional primary care, concierge medicine, hybrid with inpatient rounding and partnership opportunities with one of our community-based partners

    ·       Precepting with an academic appointment to Brown University if desired

    ·       EMR is Epic with a commitment to ongoing optimization

    ·       Diverse patient population (culturally and economically)

    ·       A dedicated medical assistant per provider

    ·       Work in a team-oriented environment with RNs, Care Managers, Pharmacists and Advance Practice Providers

    Compensation Details

    $265K–$315K

    Gauranteed base for 2 years then move to an RVU model PSLF eligible Dedicated MA No supervision of advanced practice providers
